Mindful Mondays Nature Walk

We will provide free fun, s’mores for the kids, water for all, and a very cool hands on nature activity!
Last month we made eco-friendly bird feeders: peanut butter + bird seed + pine cones and placed them along a trail for birds living along the Smith River!
**Please RSVP by texting 540-339-6397 how many will be in your party 24 hours / July 28th at 5pm so we will have enough for everyone!
Join 4RC for its second of three “Mindful Mondays: Nature Walks" for the entire family at the Smith River Sports Complex (below the Amphitheater) for fun, free, educational mindfulness and nature-based activities in the cool, summer evenings, the last Monday of each month, from June to August. This event is also Co-sponsored by Henry County Parks and Recreation.
July 29 6-7pm - "Nature as Teacher." including the Forest as Teacher, Identifying Your Spirit Animal, Radical Acceptance, Wise Mind & Body skills. Activity: "Coyote Walk" on our 1.5 walk along the Smith River.
Jenny is a 23+ year social worker and LCSW, Certified in DBT, and is a Certified Mindfulness Based Ecotherapy (MBE) Facilitator Trainer with the Mindful Ecotherapy Center, LLC.

A certified Lifeguard/ CPR trained 4RC staff member will be attendance for all walks to ensure safety of participants. Release Forms will be provided for each participant on site.
